Kambos is one of the four major settlements of Patmos Island. Pano Kambos (Upper Kambos) is a village that extends into the low hills. While Kato Kambos (Lower Kambos), is a developed tourist settlement around the cosmopolitan beach of Kambos.

Kambos is a crossroads for several areas of Patmos. From the central square of Kambos there is a road that leads to the beach and to several of the best beaches of the island. While the other one leads to a less developed side of Patmos, which is very beautiful and has nothing to envy from the tourist part of the island.
