Each island of the Aegean Sea has at least one beach called Psili Ammos or Chrisi (Golden Sand) Ammos. Well, a Psili Ammos Beach also exists on Patmos. A wonderful sandy beach, but only yet easily accessible by boat from Skala.

Access by land is only for the determined hikers as it needs a sufficient amount of walking from the place where you can park your vehicle at Diakofti. Of course at the end of this route there is the beach that will reward you, as well as a small shop to supply you with the essentials.
