Continuing towards the vicinity of Petra after the Red Rocks Beach, there is a beach with large Tamarisk trees and tavernas at the rear of it. In fact these two beaches are situated in the one horseshoe bay of Grikos that leads to the Cape of Petra.

Then up towards Petra the Tamarisk trees become smaller. This beach with the Tamarisk trees is not used by anyone but for a few fishermen who anchor their boats there.
