The area of Geranos (means Crane) and its beach is in a fair distance from Skala and from Patmos Town (also known as Chora), but it is an area that deserves your visit. Geranos Beach is one of the most exotic landscapes of Patmos.

In the area of Geranos, just a few meters before the beach there is the amazing Chapel of Panagia Geranos where from its courtyard you can admire the endless blue of the Aegean Sea. The dirt road reaches up to the Chapel, but you have to continue on foot if you want to get to the beach and not just merely admire it from afar.
